Living

What is living? Breathing, eating, drinking, walking, running, playing and talking are signs of living? Or are they?

I think that each life no matter how significant or insignificant it is, should be lived to the fullest. This applies to every single person regardless of their wealth, appearance and physical. Each life should be meaningful.

Make the world a better place to be in. Help the others. I would really hope to see the truth in the saying: “Humans are kind by nature.”

Dog

I took my dog to the vet the other day. We have brought her to many vets in the treatment of her (allergic) skin condition and spend thousands of money but to no avail. The previous vet that I brought her to suggested us to give her steroids but my sister and I declined. We have already said that we will not give my “baby” any steroids that would damage her health.

The vet then refute us saying that she thinks that my dog would rather live a happy (free of scratching and itchiness) life but a short one rather than an unhappy but long life. It got me thinking for a while that she might be right although I rejected her offer of giving my doggy steroids. When I got home, I started to ponder about what she has said.

I feel (well, I know) that my dog is very close to us from past experience and happenings. She couldn’t even bear us leaving her for one second not even if the whole family goes out. I feel that her happiness lies in being with us. Thinking as such, I think that what the vet said should be wrong. I feel that my “baby” may rather be scratchy all her life but being able to spend a longer time with us. But who knows what she is really thinking? And actually who has the right to judge how her life should be?

Or maybe, it’s actually because my family and I love her so much that we want us to be together for a longer time. I’ll end with a quote that I saw on SPCA poster.

“To you, she’s just a dog. But to her, you are everything.”

P/s: I think in my case, it should be:
“To her, you are just a human. But to you, she’s everything.”

Women

I am puzzled. Why do people say those women are complicated creatures? We have almost the same “genetic” composition than man (or maybe not, I don’t know). Or does that mean that women have a more complicated genetic make up? If so, doesn’t that mean women are more superior to man since human are considered superior than other beings because of the more complex genetic make up?

Women are not as complicated as they seem to be. It’s just that man never choose to understand them.

Love/Life

Love is about giving not about receiving. It will make your life much easier if you don’t grumble if you are giving more than you are receiving in a relationship.

And that applies to life as well.
